⏰ Cron Expression Parser
Enter a standard 5-field cron expression (minute hour day month weekday) for a plain-English explanation of each field, plus the next 5 run times. Everything is calculated locally.
Field order: minute (0-59) hour (0-23) day of month (1-31) month (1-12) day of week (0-7, both 0 and 7 are Sunday); supports *, lists 1,15, ranges 1-5, and steps */10.
FAQ
What happens if I set both day of month and day of week?
Standard cron uses OR: the job fires when either field matches. For example, 0 0 1 * 1 means "on the 1st of the month or every Monday" — not "on a Monday that is also the 1st". Only when one of the two fields is * does the other field alone decide.
Are second-level (6-field) expressions supported?
This tool only parses standard 5-field cron. For Quartz-style 6/7-field expressions (with seconds and year), drop the seconds and year fields and parse the first 5 fields here.
Is there a difference between */5 and 0/5?
No — both start from the field's minimum value and fire every 5 units. Writing 2/5 instead starts at 2: 2, 7, 12…
