🔐 Base64 Encode/Decode
Full UTF-8 support, with one-click switching between encode and decode. Runs locally, so sensitive data such as tokens is safe to use.
FAQ
Why does the browser's built-in btoa fail on Chinese text?
btoa only supports Latin1 characters, so Chinese text throws an InvalidCharacterError. This tool first converts the text to UTF-8 bytes with TextEncoder before encoding, so Chinese, Japanese, and emoji all work fine.
Is Base64 encryption?
No. It is only an encoding — anyone can decode it, so don't use it to store passwords. Use Hash for digests, and a proper encryption algorithm to protect sensitive data.
